We’re delighted to announce that Amadan Ensemble’s Geppetto is coming to the Lyric Theatre Belfast this Christmas.

Step inside Geppetto’s forgotten repair shop, where a lonely old man spends his days fixing broken things, until one unexpected visitor turns his quiet world completely upside down.

Suddenly, the ordinary becomes extraordinary.  A lamp develops a mind of its own, a radio bursts into song and even the hoover seems determined to cause trouble.

Through physical comedy, mime, puppetry and music, Geppetto tells a warm and playful story about loneliness, friendship and rediscovering a little bit of magic when you least expect it.

Created for children and grown-ups alike, the show is completely non-verbal, making it accessible to audiences of all ages and languages.
